ABOUT THE AUTHOR~

Greetings, my name is Joshua Ballze, and I'm the author of this fan novel. I'm a former Hollywood FX artist and designer based out of California who like many, was inspired as an artists by films like King Kong, Mighty Joe Young, The Land Before Time and of course, Jurassic Park. I started to write my humble ideal for a story within the universe of Jurassic Park years ago, as early as my senior year in highschool where I scribbled loose notes in a school issued notepad and shelved it for years. Finally, in 2017, after years of coming back to the ideal only to shelve it again, I plucked it off the shelf for the final time as I sat down and took a serious stab at finishing my humble nod to the film that inspired that young kid so long ago.

Along with being inspired to be an artist, I was also inspired to become an amateur paleontologist. In 2018, after years of working on location on digs with paleontologists recovering fossils and doing traveling exhibits, I finally finished my first rough draft and then subjected it to critique and editorial notes. And now, its finally ready for you to join me on my adventure into the park.

Created by Fans for Fans, my Fan novelization includes art from Hollywood artists and well known fans including my own art but also the skills of Jaroslav Kosmina (One of the aritsts from the DPG website featured in Fallen Kingdom), Aram Papazyan ( Famous Instagram Paleoarrtists), and Randy Templeton (Whose art has been featured at the Stan Winston School of Artists).  Together I've combined my talents with these amazing artists to bring to life the story your about to read.
